Objectives and Outcomes

BBA stands for Bachelor of Business Administration, a three-year professional graduation degree (CBCS Pattern) in management under P. A. Holkar Solapur University, Solapur with Marketing & Finance specialization in final year.
  • Course Objectives:
  1. To provide adequate basic understanding about management education among the students.
  2. To prepare students to exploit opportunities being newly created in the management profession.
  3. To train the students in communication skills effectively.
  4. To develop appropriate skills in the students so as to make them competent and provide themselves self-employment.
  5. To inculcate entrepreneurial skills.

  1. Students will have a strong foundation to pursue professional careers and take up higher learning courses such as MBA, MCA, M. Phil, Ph.D as well as any other research.

Course Outcome:
  1. Understand of fundamental concepts of marketing amongst students.

Subject-Financial Management-I (Subject Code: CC 12)

Course Outcome: The course aims to develop a foundation of financial management concepts and enables the student to understand how business concerns make important financial decisions, and to know the role of ratio analysis in business decisions.   Subject-Human Resource Management–I (Subject Code: CC 13) Course Outcome: To familiarize the students to the basic concepts of Human Resource Management in order to aid in understanding how an HR department functions, and in understanding the challenges faced by managers in today’s business firms.

Subject: Production Management-I (Subject Code: CC 14)

Course Outcome:
  • To provide students with basic understanding of concepts of Production management.
  • To introduce students to the key activities performed by the Production function.
  • To understand global trends in Production management.

Course Outcome: For students, this subject is particularly important and beneficial because it helps in developing the concept of optimum utilisation of available resources. For the management of an organization, it is a crucial discipline as the information collected and presented to management is  based on cost and management accounting techniques which in turn  helps the  management to solve not only specific difficulties but also guides them in decision making. Semester-VI Subject-Marketing Management-II (Subject Code: CC 11) Course Outcome:
  1. To develop detailed understanding of marketing mix elements.
  2. To familiarise students with marketing decision making.

  Guest Lecture on "Entrepreneurship: Owning Your Future" BBA Section arranged a Guest Lecture on 5th March 2021 topic, "Entrepreneurship: Owning Your Future" under UDYAMSHEEL- The ED Cell through Google Meet Platform. The lecture was conducted by Mr. Vishwashankar Chakote, M.D., Shower & Tower Waterpark, Solapur, also BBA alumnus of Batch( 2010-2013). He highlighted various entrepreneurial opportunities at local level , skills required for it and shared his experiences and lessons learnt from his venture. Jidnyasaa- 22nd BBA Annual Seminar was held on 25 Jan 2024, titled " Opportunities in Indian Tourism Industry". Event was inaugurated by Mr. Anand Bansode (360 Explorers). Mr. Vishwashankar Chakote (Shower n Tower Water park, Solapur) & Mr. Sandip Tapkir (Principal, Swami Samarth Maharashtra Institute of Hotel Management, Solapur) were key speakers who gave insights on seminar theme. In all 10 students presented their research papers, which was judged by Mr. Ajit Kokane (Manager, Smart Solapurkat Digital Media).

26/03/2022 BBA  20th   BBA Annual Seminar

 Jidnyasaa- 20th BBA Annual Seminar was arranged on 26/03/2022 on “ Investment Awareness and Career Opportunities in Mutual Fund”. It was inaugurated by Mr. Narayan Sindhee (Jyoti Financial Services, Solapur). Two key speakers- Mr. Vinod Kungiri (Broker, Sharekhan, Solapur) and Mr. Vinod Malpuri (Branch Manager, HDFC AMC, Solapur) covered different aspects of the seminar theme.
